Onur Aydin is the Managing Director of the JIMCO Technology Fund, the Jameel Family’s global venture capital fund investing across a variety of emergent and breakthrough technologies in all fields.

Onur Aydin is the Managing Director of the JIMCO Technology Fund, the Jameel Family’s global venture capital fund investing across a variety of innovative emergent and breakthrough technologies in fields as diverse as fintech, insurtech, electric vehicles, future mobility solutions and more.

In this role, Onur builds and oversees the global strategy of tech. VC investing for JIMCO and manages both direct and fund investments worldwide.

Previously, Onur was the Managing Director of Digital Transformation at Abdul Latif Jameel Motors Toyota, Saudi Arabia, Abdul Latif Jameel’s largest automotive business, where he started and led the digitalization of the core business.

He held similar senior digital leadership roles at Arcelik and Boyner Retail Group prior to joining Abdul Latif Jameel.

Onur also worked at Boston Consulting Group in London and Istanbul offices as a management consultant and spent three years at Rocket Internet/Groupon as the CEO of Groupon Turkey.

Onur started his career at Abdul Latif Jameel as a vehicle brand manager and also held management roles at Toyota Motor Corporation Australia for several years in strategic planning.

Onur graduated with a BA in Management with high honors from Bogazici University. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School (MBA Class 2009), where he was a Ozyegin Fellow, and also holds a Master of Marketing from Macquarie University, Australia.

Onur speaks Turkish, French and English.
