JIMCO participates in Starship’s US$ 50 million Series C funding round

JIMCO (Jameel Investment Management Company), the global investment arm of the Jameel Family, today announced that the JIMCO Technology Fund is participating in the US$ 50 million Series C funding round for Starship Technologies, a world leader in autonomous robot delivery.

Led by Plural, the round received additional participation from Karma.vc, Latitude, Coefficient Capital, SmartCap and Skaala.  The funding will be used to accelerate the entry into the U.S. market, grow the robot fleet, and deepen collaborations with major retailers pursuing reliable autonomous delivery solutions.
